SUMMER CAMPS, ISRO/DRDO VISITS
March- May 2010- Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara & GOA

Our organization has a set up of Science training center in the Kolhapur city since Nov. 2006. During Diwali and summer vacation many interested students can join us to do science practical themselves. Personality Development, Yoga, Astronomy, Space Science, Basic Physics and Electronics are the basic subjects of workshop/camp.
During Summer Vacations of 2010, we have planned following programme under guidance of ISRO and DRDO scientists. In ISRO, Dr. G. Madhavan Nair- Ex. Chairman- ISRO and Dr. K. Radhakrishnan- Chairman- ISRO will give their inspiring guidelines to our children about space science. Indian Space Programme, Mission Chandrayaan-1, next space missions of India, opportunities for youngsters in ISRO will be the basic topics of their guidelines.
As same way Missile scientists in various DRDO laboratories of Hyderabad will guide
our children about India’s defence programme.

For small children age from 7-14, we have planned a three days Astronomy workshop and one night stay for sky observation near Kolhapur city. Movies, pictures and video clips about astronomy and International Space Station, basic Astronomy, stars, planets and constellations will be the major topics according to age of the participant. Limited no. of Parents may be also allowed for One Night Stay Sky Observation
